1500 Calorie Meal Plan Example

Are you tired of sacrificing the nutrients your body needs to function properly just to lose weight? It's time to say goodbye to crash diets and hello to a healthy lifestyle on a calorie deficit.

To start, a calorie deficit is simply consuming fewer calories than your body needs to maintain its current weight. It's essential if you're looking to lose weight and create a healthier, happier you. But don't worry, you don't have to drastically cut your calorie intake. Usually, a 15% deficit from your daily calorie needs is enough.

For busy women with sitting jobs and not much active lifestyle, like most of the women I work with, a calorie intake of 1500-1800 calories is suitable. To make things even easier for you, I've put together a FULL DAY OF EATING meal plan for 1500 calories!

Let's take a look at some meal examples:

Breakfast:

  • 2 slices (150g) of toasted Rye Bread (BIONA) with 50g of smoked salmon

  • 2 eggs (cooked as you want)

  • 150g of avocado

Lunch:

  • Smoothie: 200 ml of coconut milk (carton) with a scoop of vegan protein powder + 50g of frozen berries + 50g of banana

  • Snack with 20g of 85% dark chocolate

Dinner:

  • 250 g of baked sweet potato ( or white one)

  • 120g of tuna mixed with 1tbs of mayonnaise

  • Salad (lettuce, 30 g of goat cheese or (vegan Greek cheese (VIOLIFE)), cucumber, and 1 tomato

  • Spray it with 1 calorie dressing spray (HEINZ)

ALL TOGETHER: 1500 CALORIES Protein: 113g, Fat: 59g, Carbs: 136g, Sugar: 21g

Not only do these meals add up to around 1500 calories, but they are also delicious, filling, and packed with nutrients that will help you achieve your fitness goals. It's important to note the sugar content, as these meals contain only 21g of sugar, which is below the recommended daily intake of 30g. Consuming too much sugar can lead to weight gain, insulin resistance, and other health problems, so it's important to be mindful of your sugar intake on a daily basis.
